Cranbrook Junior School sponsors a World Vision child (and his community) in Tanzania. Every term, one day is set aside to do an activity to raise money to send to World Vision who uses it for community projects that benefit James and his community, eg for schooling, water, farming.

Our sponsorship has brought many changes to his life and to his community - education, water wells, medicine, etc.
•His favourite subjects are writing, reading and Maths.
His favourite sports are group games and football.

His job is to carry water at home. He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters. •
His mother and father work on their farm – they grow beans cassava, sweet potatoes, maize and bananas. •
He lives in a house with a grass thatched roof and mud walls, near Lake Victoria. •
